The Chancellor Hotel is registered under the Tourism Act., established in July 1999. The hotel site was once a horse stable for the aristocrats that visited one of the oldest Roman Catholic Churches on the island, which is next door to the property. In the early 1960’s a portuguese landowner developed the first boutique hotel in St Ann’s called Cactus Inn. The most prominent tenant that lived on site was Patrick Choo Foon who is famous for most of the sculptures around the city. The Chancellor Hotel has a charm that is unique, and within close proximity to the Botanical Gardens, The Emperor Valley Zoo, Queens ParK Savannah , Queen’s Park Cricket Club, Supermarkets, Mini Marts , Restaurants .
