RaffaelloThis apartment is the showpiece of Casal dei Fichi. The large living area boasts a stunning open gabled ceiling, it enjoys panoramic views to the south and west and an open fireplace completes the room, ideal for chilly winter evenings. A sofa bed in the living room means this apartment can easily accommodate 4 people. The spacious bedroom leads through to an en-suite bathroom. The private garden provides a beautiful space for dining and relaxation – enjoy the sunshine or find shade under the large fig tree. There can be direct access between Raffaello and Rossini making them ideal for up to 8 people – see special rate in Standard season. The size and setup of this apartment makes it the most suitable for disabled guests, please contact us for more information.
OrsiniThe naturalist Antonio Orsini, catalogued much of the native flora and fauna in the nearby Sibillini mountains. This comfortable, light and spacious first floor apartment has windows opening to the south and west with dramatic views across the valley and to those mountains. The large airy bedroom, can be arranged with an Emperor size bed for indulgent luxury, or with two large twins as preferred. The apartment has a private south facing garden overlooking the pool and the valley beyond.
BramanteThis apartment is named after 15th Century Marchegiani architect and painter Donato Bramante. It enjoys the views to the front of the house across the valley from both the living room and the large picture window of the bedroom. It has a brick built fireplace. The bathroom is accessed from the main living room so this apartment could practically accommodate 4 people. Like all the apartments it has a private garden, pictured with space for relaxing and dining.
RicciMatteo Ricci, 16th century Jesuit priest, scientist and cartographer was from nearby Macerata but spent much of his life as a Chinese scholar and court mathematician in Beijing. This secluded boutique apartment’s comfortable living room has a brick built fireplace and opens to the kitchen /diner through a brick arch. A spiral staircase leads up from the dining area up to the bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Ricci’s front door opens onto it’s private garden with ample space for dining and relaxation. This leads to a large grassed area with a large walnut and mature fig trees which provide refreshing shade.
LeopardiGiacomo Leopardi, perhaps Italy’s most renowned poet whose most famous piece ‘Infinity’ was inspired by the clear starry Marchigiani nights which can be enjoyed from the terrace. This apartment is situated on the first floor and enjoys a large private terrace opening off the living room. A small corridor separates the bedroom, bathroom and living room so this apartment could practically accommodate 4 people. The special feature of Leopardi is the large south facing terrazza with panoramic views over the pool and the valley – ideal for al fresco dining.
RossiniGioachino Rossini, the famous composer is celebrated every summer by an Opera festival in the Marchigiano coastal resort of Pesaro, his home town. This ground floor apartment enjoys breathtaking views across the valley to the medieval hamlet of Alteta through full width french windows, as broadcast by Italian state TV. This apartment also features a traditional Italian brick built fireplace. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen. The large double bedroom at the rear leads to the private garden with views of the orchard.
